Thought I would just say hello !!

I have been keeping and breeding tropical fish for over 20 years now my main interest is L Number Plecos and various other small species of catfish having kept a variety of other fish over the years but most to accompany the plecos I could prattle on about them for hours but would bore you all so shall stop now lol

My work I am the owner of Rare Aquatics here in Cheshire UK we have a lot of customers in Northern Ireland who we ship too on a regular basis I am hoping that a few are on here too Cool we specialize on the import of South American tropical fish

In my time in the hobby I have made many mistakes and learnt a few tricks too I hope I can be of some help on this new exciting forum looking forward to meeting you all

xx Jo

Hello there Jo - A very big warm welcome to the forum Smile So great to have you on here!! I think i was chatting to you on facebook Smile i would be the one behind the tropicalfsihni page LOL

We have a few members well into their catfish and L numbers (including Terry and I LOL) we think we have some L134's at the minute but not 100% sure so would be great to get your opinion on them at some stage - if we can ever get some decent pics that is!

We have had panaques, starlight plecs, various loaches etc and currently have hoplosternum thorocatum, syno eupteris, and petricola (please excuse my spellings LOL!)

Will be great to get to prattle on about them all at some stage Smile and learn a bit more about these amazing creatures!

Jo if you would like us to display your banner in the forum friend section we would be delighted to do that for you! Just let any of the admin know (mbuna, fantastic fish or myself)

I am sure you will be able to share plenty of tips with us and i look forward to having many interesting discussions!

Chat soon
